Nullagine Pool

NULLAGINE POOL OPEN

The Nullagine Pool is now open, delivering an important piece of community infrastructure for a remote town that has long faced health, safety and livability challenges.

As part of the Shire’s broader Resilient by Design: Building a Sustainable East Pilbara program, the pool was built to ensure communities across the East Pilbara have access to safe, practical facilities that support everyday wellbeing.

With extreme heat for much of the year, the pool provides a safe, supervised place for residents — particularly children and young people — to cool down, stay active and build water safety skills.

More than a recreational facility, the pool supports preventative health, social connection and quality of life in Nullagine, and reflects the Shire’s ongoing investment in making East Pilbara communities better places to live.
