The Disability Services Act 1993 (WA) states that all local governments review their Social Inclusion Plan every five (5) years. To meet this obligation, the Shire of East Pilbara must consider everything that can marginalise people – gender, race, age, sexual orientation, physical ability & mental health.

Developed through community and stakeholder consultation, the plan will address outcome areas including access to services, buildings, information, employment, and opportunities.

As part of this process, we’ll be at the Outback Fortescue Festival on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August from 2.00pm - 4-.00pm with a creative engagement activity. We will also be holding a number of Community Drop-In opportunities - to speak with community members and gather input. Check out "Key Dates" for more details.
