NULLAGINE POOL OPEN

The Nullagine Pool is now open, delivering an important piece of community infrastructure for a remote town that has long faced health, safety and liveability challenges.

As part of the Shire’s broader Resilient by Design: Building a Sustainable East Pilbara program, the pool was delivered to ensure communities across the East Pilbara have access to safe, practical facilities that support everyday wellbeing.

With extreme heat experienced for much of the year, the pool provides a safe, supervised place for residents — particularly children and young people — to cool down, stay active and build water safety skills.

More than a recreational facility, the pool supports preventative health, social connection and quality of life in Nullagine, and reflects the Shire’s commitment to delivering essential infrastructure in remote communities.

This update marks the completion of the Nullagine Pool project. This page will be retained for information purposes.
