Project Update – February 2026

The detailed design for the terminal building upgrade is in progress and is being integrated with the taxiway and apron design to support a well‑coordinated redevelopment program.

The project has progressed through planning, detailed design refinement, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance with aviation, safety and operational requirements.

The Shire is preparing to commence the tender process to appoint qualified contractors. Public updates will focus on key milestones, with further details to be provided following contract award and key project milestones.
