East Pilbara Sports Awards 2026

The East Pilbara Sports Awards celebrate the athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, clubs and sporting events that make sport thrive across our region. These awards recognise outstanding achievements, dedication and the positive impact local sport has on our community.

Nominations are now open across a range of award categories. Individuals, clubs and organisations are encouraged to nominate those who have demonstrated excellence, commitment and outstanding contributions to sport during 2026.

Nomination Catagories:

• Athlete of the Year
• Junior Athlete of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Sporting Volunteer of the Year
• Junior Sporting Volunteer of the Year
• Umpire/Official of the Year
• Sporting Group of the Year
• Sporting Event of the Year

New for 2026, winners from eligible local club and association awards will automatically be considered for the East Pilbara Sports Awards, helping ensure more of our region's sporting achievements are recognised. Community members are also encouraged to submit nominations for anyone they believe deserves recognition.

The 2026 East Pilbara Sports Awards will be held on Saturday 7 November 2026 at the Newman Hotel, celebrating the achievements of our local sporting community.
